Hello our friends and family.
This is an update just before Christmas. We hope that you have a peaceful and joyful celebration and have time with the ones you love.
The days are short here (21st December will be the shortest day of the year) and we find ourselves reminding the kids of the need of winter coats when they go out. It is getting significantly colder as we write this.
What’s Christmas like where you are? What are your plans over the holiday period?
We want to let you know about what has happened over the few months since our last letter. Jacob and Jessie now have friends through school which is helping them to settle here. Jacob has just finished his final exam for entrance into ‘secondary school’ so he is mightily relieved. There are many schools to possibly apply to so we would appreciate your prayers to give us insight as to which one to apply for.
Becky now has a residency permit from UK immigration for the next couple of years. We have a foot in the door in terms of longer term residency. Thank you God! Without Becky, Stephen would have had a learning curve the size of Everest to keep the kids fed and clothed! We have also acquired a car which is insured for both of us and which is ideal for our needs. Thank Father!
Next week we have bank appointments for trying to buy a house. Please pray for supernatural favour with getting a mortgage.
Stephen is spending the next 3 weeks in a surge of writing on his next book. He is hoping to complete a first draft of a new book before the end of January. There are more books in the pipeline after that. In the New Year, he will be travelling again with Fatherheart Ministries, with events planned in Europe in January, March, April and then in the USA in July.
We are so thankful for being connected with you and we treasure your joining with us in prayer and in love.
Stephen, Becky, Jacob and Jessie.
