A CHANGE OF LANGUAGE (Luke 1: 5-25; 57-64)
Love has a different language than fear.
Sonship has a different speech
than orphanhood.
When love enters into you
the language of judgement
becomes silent
and the language of love
gains a voice.
Sonship equips you with a new speech,
a speech that speaks forth life and love.
A new positive, hope-filled language.
You should not be afraid
if you have nothing to say for a while.
Zachariah, the father of John the Baptist,
experienced this transition of speech.
He was struck dumb for a period
until the transition
from unbelief to prophetic alignment took place.
His final words before the angel touched him
was to give a judgement of negativity,
“How shall I know this?
For I am an old man
and my wife is advanced in years.”
Because he didn't see things
how God sees them
he lost his ability to speak.
When he became aligned
with the reality of heaven
his tongue was loosed.
He quelled the clamour of debate
about the name of the child
by writing on a tablet,
“His name is John.”
In that time of dumbness,
he heard the words of life in heaven.
He saw the prophetic reality
and immediately his tongue was loosed.
He went from questioning unbelief
to blessing God.
If you have a language of fear and judgement
That utters orphan-ese
you will be made dumb,
until you perceive a different reality.
Then you will get your speech back.
You know Stephen that blog just made me think of something. When I was in New Zealand at the gatheing awhile back I would walk to the venue each morning and have a great conversation with the Father. I tend to be a very quiet person but I was reminded of what Papa said to me that one day. That was He was going to give me a voice. I didn’t think of this at the time but I do believe that I was released of that very orphan spirit you are talking about.Thank you for your blog as you are a blessing in so many ways. I still tend to be a very quiet person but this I know…
