Challenging the accepted norms and the status quo

Why are we always drawn to a centre/headquarters , and why do we always seek out somewhere to look to for direction? Are we like ancient Israel who pleaded for a king like the surrounding nations? Are we, unknowingly, out of step with the movement of God's Spirit? We are in the midst of strange and difficult times. There is less and less security and normality the way we have known it. People are dispersed and scattered. The question is: where is God to be found? If the Spirit is moving, where is that movement going? These are some of the questions I raise with Martin Scott, a prophetic thinker and 'stirrer-up' of what we assume to be the 'norm.
